Biography
The founding partner of the Law Offices of Erica M. Foster, Erica Foster has been practicing family law and real estate law in the Greater Boston area since 1992. To her clients as well as her peers, she is known as a legitimate, knowledgeable, and compassionate advocate with a knack for solving problems. Prior to working as a sole practitioner, Erica was a law clerk for Vermont Superior and District Court as well as for the Honorable Irving Ben Cooper in the Federal District Court for the Southern District of New York-Manhattan. Thereafter, she worked for a firm in Wakefield, Massachusetts with a diverse law practice. In 1993, Erica entered into a partnership with David Peterson and established a firm called Foster and Peterson. There, she focused on real estate, which included representing several banks in closings for single and multifamily dwellings. She was also an approved title agent for Stewart Title. In 1997, Erica branched off into her own practice, where she continues her concentration in family law, real estate law, and probate law. Erica completed her undergraduate studies at Hamilton College in New York and received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts.
