As a lawyer and a certified mediator, Erica’s strength lies with her experience.

More Than Two Decades Of Insight

Erica leverages more than 20 years as an attorney to advance your interests through sound and accurate legal advice. Not only does she understand the court system and the complex web of Massachusetts laws; she also has strong working relationships with family service officers and judges throughout Greater Boston. This gives Erica keen insight as to how to view and handle cases.

Erica has been serving clients across the Boston area since 1992. To her clients as well as her peers, she is known as a legitimate, knowledgeable and compassionate advocate with a knack for solving problems.

Prior to working as a sole practitioner, Erica was a law clerk for Vermont Superior Court and the U.S. District Court for the District of Vermont, as well as for the Honorable Irving Ben Cooper in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. She then worked for a firm in Wakefield, Massachusetts, with a diverse law practice. In 1993, Erica entered into a partnership with David Peterson and established a firm called Foster and Peterson. There, she focused on real estate, which included representing several banks in closings for single and multifamily dwellings. She was also an approved title agent for Stewart Title.

In 1997, Erica branched off into her own practice, where she continues her concentration in family law, real estate law and probate law. Click here to read more about Erica’s professional background.
